The Wedding Chapel at the Fuller House Inn

The historic Fuller House Inn’s wedding chapel, with its candles, white silk roses, and elegant fireplace, is a romantic, intimate setting for a small wedding, elopement or vow renewal ceremony. Our in-house wedding officiant, Susan Winkeler, will perform a standard, non-denominational ceremony before signing and returning your license to the issuing circuit court clerk. You may also hire one of our associate wedding celebrants, David McLaughlin or Aaron Riddle. If you prefer, you may bring your own minister, pastor, priest or spiritual adviser to perform your vows. Our wedding chapel is open to all!

If you decide to bring your own wedding celebrant, please ask if they’re authorized to perform marriages in the Commonwealth of Virginia. If not, there’s no need to worry! Our in-house wedding officiant can legalize your union before, during or after your ceremony. Susan Winkeler is a court-appointed, civil marriage commissioner (justice of the peace) for the City of Winchester.

You can get your license and get married in Winchester, Virginia on the same day. Our wedding chapel is located just three blocks away from the courthouse, so it’s quick and easy drive or walk. After you obtain your marriage license, you can be at the Fuller House Inn by car in less than five minutes or on foot in less than ten. When your ceremony is over, our wedding officiant will immediately return your signed marriage license to the courthouse. You can pick up your certified documents right away — no need to wait days for your paperwork!

Would you like some affordable wedding photos of your special day? We offer “fast photos” for $10.00 a piece. There’s no obligation or minimum. After we take a variety of shots with our device, you can choose only the photos you want. We then email you the unedited, digital images of your wedding, so you can enjoy them right away!

The Fuller House Inn’s wedding chapel is available for same-day, short-notice or future marriages. It’s an easy drive from anywhere in Northern Virginia, Baltimore or the Washington, DC metro area, including Alexandria, Arlington, Leesburg or Manassas. It’s also a manageable drive from Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania or West Virginia — oftentimes just a few hours or less!
